Prof. Dr. Archana Pandey Bista is a distinguished nursing educator, researcher, and academic leader with over 33 years of experience at the Institute of Medicine, Tribhuvan University. She currently serves as Professor at Maharajgunj Nursing Campus, where she teaches and mentors undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral students in Women's Health and Development, Midwifery, and Nursing Research. An accomplished academic, she has held several leadership roles, including Assistant Campus Chief, Head of the Department of Nursing Research and Education, Coordinator of the PhD Program, and Research Director of the Research Management Cell. She is also Vice-President of the Midwifery Society of Nepal (MIDSON) and serves on multiple academic and research committees.
Prof. Bista has led nationally funded research projects supported by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the Nepal Health Research Council (NHRC) and has published extensively in national and international peer-reviewed journals. As a researcher, trainer, editor, and mentor, she continues to advance nursing education, research, and evidence-based healthcare while contributing significantly to maternal and child health in Nepal.
